Lichen Day with Jenny Craig

Saturday 2nd May - 10am until 3pm

Jenny is a lichen artist and enthusiast. She will give an introductory talk and slideshow about lichens, followed by guided walks around the Glentrool trails to find a range of lichens growing in different environments. In the event of heavy rain, a range of lichen samples will be provided to examine indoors. Hand lenses will be provided, but bring your own if you have one.
Please bring waterproofs and suitable walking shoes/ boots.
Lunch is available at Glentrool Forest Cafe, or bring your own packed lunch.
