We offer single night stays, are dog friendly and can assist you in ordering groceries for your arrival.

Glentrool Holiday Cottage
We offer short breaks (from 3 nights) or longer stays in our two cosy, peaceful self-catering cottages, Culsharg Cottage and Kelpies Cottage. Both cottages sleep up to five people. The cottages are directly opposite each other, so potentially also suitable for larger families by booking both cottages.

Galloway Forest Holiday Park
Galloway Forest Holiday Park is the only campsite in Galloway Forest Park, the UK’s first Dark Sky Park. Nestled in over three hundred square miles of forest, hills, and wildlife-rich landscapes, our peaceful site is the perfect base for exploring the great outdoors.
We have a selection of brand new and pre-owned static caravans, park homes and lodges for sale, fully equipped self-catering caravans for hire and hard-standing pitches with electric hook-up for tourers. We also have several tent pitches, some with electric hook-up available.

Dark Skies Retreat
On the edge of the Galloway Forest lies a traditional Mongolian yurt, a peaceful timber cabin and a cosy cottage. In a beautiful riverside location, set in 10 acres of tranquil garden, woodland and pasture, Dark Sky Retreat offers 3 accommodation options, each well equipped, with super comfy beds, lovely views and a very warm welcome.

Garlies Lodge
Located in the heart of Gallloway Forest Park with walking and cycling from the door, ideal for touring this beautiful area.
Situated in a peaceful location within the Galloway Forest Park, one of the Dark Sky Parks, and surrounded by rolling hills, this detached former hunting lodge offers a true ‘get-away-from-it-all’ break.

Creeside Escape
Get away from it all and stay with us in our traditional shepherd’s hut on our working farm in a quiet corner of South West Scotland.
Our hut has uninterrupted views of the River Cree and the Galloway Hills in the distance. On warmer evenings sit outside, relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery and as night falls enjoy the splendour of the Dark Skies Park. If it’s wet and windy retreat inside where you will be warm and toasty beside the wood burning stove!
